Ross’s Momentum LT has a ridiculous amount of drag. Crank the knob all the way and you’ll find stopping power that will make you scratch your head and wonder “why?” Why build a reel with this much drag? The answer (maybe) is because they can.According to Ross reel designers, the carbon-fiber drag inside the reel is actually much stronger than the reel itself. The frame, spool, and foot are one-piece machined aluminum; the internal drag components are titanium and carbon fiber. Our tester gave these reels an “A+” and said  “They are super lightweight with an extremely durable carbon drag system that has held up for me under heavy saltwater use superbly.” Available in sizes 8-weight to 14-weight (with 450 yards of 30-pound Dacron backing).www.rossreels.com
