 After two years of testing cores, coatings, tapers, and color combinations, RIO’s new Bonefish line has a medium (6'6") front taper for better turnover, and a long back taper to smooth out the casting loop and keep the line stable when throwing longer casts. Our tester said, “The hard, saltwater coating and stiff core make for a line that stays stiff and slick—not gummy—and results in fewer tangles on the boat deck.” The head of the line is a light sand color with a contrasting dusty blue running line to indicate the best loading point.
