Created for warm to hot conditions, SA says it designed its Bass Bug lines with a super-short front head of about 5' to turn over big poppers, sliders, and swimmers with ease. The 10' rear taper aides in greater line control and accuracy. Our certified(iable?) bass guru said “From the California Delta to the farm ponds and reservoirs of the foothills, it’s important to make accurate shots. The Bass Bug taper allowed me to throw big heavy streamers and poppers into tight pockets with accuracy, even in windy conditions.
